Wood Packaging Material

Take Advantage of WCLIB’s Wood Packaging Material (WPM) Program

Do you have onsite heat treating (HT) capabilities? Do you purchase HT stamped lumber to construct your wood packaging? If so, WCLIB can provide the requisite International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) HT mark to certify your international shipments.

The West Coast Lumber Inspection Bureau (WCLIB) is accredited to provide International Standard for Phytosanitary Measure No. 15 (ISPM 15) and HT certification for wood packaging producers in the U.S. WCLIB can certify your wood packaging through our WPM program — whether it’s onsite heat treating or you’re using HT stamped lumber to construct your wood packaging, including all types of:

  • Pallets
  • Boxes
  • Crates
  • Dunnage

About ISPM 15

The International Plant Protection Convention(IPPC) developed the ISPM 15 for solid wood packaging material to help prevent the spread of wood-borne pathogens around the world. Packaging that is certified under this program includes pallets, boxes, crates and dunnage.
